A fun and versatile wooden game, our Fruit & Vegetable Match is a set of fourteen pairs of smooth tactile basswood ply tiles with a clear colour print on one side of real photographic images of fruits and vegetables. The square chunky tiles are easy for your child to hold and turn over in their hands.
Fun to use in the following ways:
• A matching game - turn all the tiles face up and match the whole fruit/vegetable with its corresponding slice image.
• A memory game - turn the tiles face down and try to remember where the matching fruit or vegetable pairs are situated.
• A sorting game - sort the tiles into food groups, by colour, variety (fruit or vegetable?), seeds/no seeds, texture, taste (sweet/sour/savoury) or group by size of the fruit/vegetable (smallest to largest).
